SYSTEM VERIFICATION ENGINEER

We are looking for a skilled System Verification Engineer with experience in HIL verification, SW development, and test automation to join our exciting global work environment, where key values are trust, passion, and change. As a System Verification Engineer, you will work in close cooperation with many stakeholders to understand product development needs, future test equipment, and methods requirements.

 

With your deep and wide Electromobility component and system knowledge, you will identify technical solutions and be part of the realization and commissioning of new equipment. Moreover, you will develop and execute test cases at SIL/MIL/HIL level, upgrade existing rigs, and prepare HIL rig technical descriptions and specifications.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform basic SWDL/ pre-Alpha, and Alpha tests whenever there is a new software release

  • Realizing/Converting manual test cases into an Automation Desk test case

  • Perform Model updates to HIL

  • Develop test cases according to cross-functional requirements.

  • Assist Verification Engineers and developers in effectively using the HIL

  • Troubleshoot errors/faults in the HIL

  • Support and Education to other domains. Support HIL rigs cooperation/connection with other rigs/test equipment, e.g., test cells, PEL, Box Truck etc.

  • Create templates for automatic tests in HILs

Who You are

  • B.Sc. or Master of Science in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical engineering or similar education

  • 5 years of work experience in embedded systems development within the automotive industry and the ability to simulate and verify/prove the results in rigs

  • At least 5 years of experience from system work with hands-on connection to reality

  • Experience in writing Software test plans/test cases for Verification using a very high-level cross-functional specification

  • Experience with Python/Shell scripting/LAB View/ CANalyzer/CANOE environment

  • Knowledge in Matlab / Simulink

  • Continuous integration awareness and good knowledge of Agile principles are added advantages

  • Meritorious if you are familiar with dSPACE tools, Atlassian Tool suite and open-source tools like Jenkins
